The thinking behind that moderated - which means editorially approved - comment is very alarming. But what is even more alarming is that as I write this, 82 Slipped Disc readers have expressed their approval via a thumbs-up of the statement that "the so-called vaccines don't work", while only 42 disagree. Has the classical audience gone stark raving mad, or is just Slipped Disc readers?

Rabid anti-vaxxer DLW has submitted a comment disagreeing with this post. I am sceptical about the argument for free speech when that freedom endangers the health and lives of many others. But if DLW wishes to exercise that dubious right he should do all the hard work involved in creating a blog with a loyal longstanding readership. He should publish his views there, instead of trying to air them on An Overgrown Path. Other rabid anti-vaxxer wishing to air their views should join DLW on the that forum or on Slipped Disc.
