Salt and vinegar or smokey bacon?

That photo was taken by my brother a few days ago at Yangon Central Railway Station in Myanmar. Before dismissing his headline as a nice throwaway line do follow this link.

Yes, there is a noticeable difference in the quality of this photo taken on my brother's Leica X1 and that of most of the original photos on An Overgrown Path taken on my modest Canon SX150 compact. But I think I will stick with the Canon for my forthcoming travels to India and elsewhere. The Canon fits in my pocket, uses readily-available AA batteries so doesn't need a charger, and if it is stolen or left by me on an Indian train I won't be dealing my travel insurance a knock out blow.

Now my brother tells me from Australia that it was not a Leica X1 but the even more expensive Leica Q, which he won apparently and appropriately in a photographic competition.
