The Wigmore Hall in collaboration with radio 3 run lunchtime concerts for young artists. Very admirable. However if you are listening to radio 3 aroubd 11.30am on a Monday, youyare told how amazing the recital will be. If youygo to the Hall, the dj comes on stage to tell you what a wonderful concert we are about to hear.

Dumbing down of the worst kind. And to make it worse, I am not referring to an idiot such as Petroc, these are presenters who know about music
