Lebrecht's latest: Wagner invented the phrase "the final solution". He will say anything that comes into his head. See The Moral Maze, July 31. There are quite a few questionable statements in that programme. Will Self refers to: "The early 19th c movement of Sturm und Drang". Pretentious showing-off point and out by half a century.
