The New York Times reports that Abu Dhabi is on the itinerary of the New York Philharmonic's upcoming Asian tour. Alan Gilbert, the orchestra's new music director is represented by IMG Artists. As I reported in April last year, the Abu Dhabi music and arts festival is organised by IMG Artists. Cue a blog post from the orchestra about there being no such thing as a free lunch?
