Hommage à Pierre Boulez
Entre 1952 et 1955, Pierre Boulez composait " le Marteau sans Maître ", une pièce pour voix d'alto et six instruments, sur un poème de René Char, qui allait révolutionner le monde musical. Plus de cinquante ans après sa création, je peux enfin vous prouver que le marteau a bien trouvé son Maître.

It's interesting to remember that Le Marteau sans Maître has been recorded five times by Boulez himself, not to mention the other versions.
Hmmm...I have three of those Boulez recordings, plus some of what are charmingly called "pirate" recordings. I love the piece, thanks for the reminder, Pliable, I'll give one of them a listen in the next few days.
