Solti - 'Magician of Music'

'The Magician of Music, the Wizard of the Wand', a painted glass and resin portrait of Sir Georg Solti by Andrew Logan (pictured above with the artwork) has been installed in the foyer of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.

As Music Director for ten years from 1961 Georg Solti played a central role in the development of The Royal Opera at Covent Garden.
