And now - Britten ringtones

Boosey & Hawkes has announced the launch of Booseytones, a new website offering "classical ringtones for the discerning phone". With over 300 True Tones - of audio quality - this is the largest collection of high-definition classical ringtones on the web, from Bach to Stravinsky and beyond.

Benjamin Britten is represented by five tones: the ‘Dawn’ and ‘Sunday Morning’ Sea Interludes from Peter Grimes; the ‘Romance’ from the Variations on a Theme of Frank Bridge; and the theme and fugue from A Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra.

Downloading a ringtone is simple and, for the technically challenged, the new site includes a helpful illustrated step-by-step guide. Booseytones also offers wallpaper images of composers for the mobile phone window, and selected downloads of music recordings.
