Dickinson's English roots and the fact that much of the material originates from BBC interviews gives this Cage anthology a refreshingly cosmopolitan feel. The interviewees include <a href="http://www.merce.org/about.html">Merce Cunningham</a>, <a href="http://www.whsmith.co.uk/CatalogAndSearch/ProductDetails-Frontiers+-9789057550331.html&tab=2">Bonnie Bird</a>, <a href="http://www.emf.org/tudor/Life/biography.html">David Tudor</a>, <a href="http://www.overgrownpath.com/2005/11/glorious-john-in-new-york.html">Virgil Thomson</a>, <a href="http://www.overgrownpath.com/2007/12/karlheinz-stockhausen-part-of-dream.html">Karlheinz Stockhausen</a>, <a href="http://www.melafoundation.org/ly1para8.htm">La Monte Young</a> and <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pauline_Oliveros">Pauline Oliveros</a>. I will be dipping into CageTalk again several more times, meanwhile Cage is happening <a href="http://www.overgrownpath.com/2008/02/john-cage-was-really-happening-in.html">here</a> and Carter <a href="http://www.overgrownpath.com/2008/01/music-has-to-be-adventurous-experience.html">here</a>.<br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Any copyrighted material on these pages is included as "fair use", for the purpose of study, review or critical analysis only, and will be removed at the request of copyright owner(s).
