We are traveling to France in March of this year and plan to visit Creancey. Are you able to provide us with any more information regarding the exact location of the plaque? Thank you.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03833160505931000902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8060605.post-4437546163437802402009-11-11T08:53:00.813+00:002009-11-11T08:53:00.813+00:00There are some useful Jonathan Harvey samples here...There are some useful Jonathan Harvey samples here, but not Passion and Resurrection -

http://www.musiquecontemporaine.fr/en/search?disp=all&query=Harvey&exp_inl=on&exp_aud=on&so=taPliablehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10616598845886342325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8060605.post-60889641925556565362009-11-11T08:24:02.410+00:002009-11-11T08:24:02.410+00:00The plaque at Créancey says they the USAAF pilot k...The plaque at Créancey says they the USAAF pilot killed in the crash was flying a Spitfire. I was not aware that the American airforce flew Spitfires. But a search on the internet confirms that the British supplied a limited number of Spitfires to the USAAF for use in the European and Mediterranenan theatres of war. Which explains the presence of one in central France in 1944.

http://www.ww2incolor.com/us-air-force/life_276.html

Cue Walton's Spitfire Prelude and Fugue -

http://www.overgrownpath.com/2007/05/elgar-first-of-new.htmlPliablehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10616598845886342325noreply@blogger.com
