It's a very austere place but I can see why Britten loved it: near the sea, quiet, away from civilization a bit. His and Pear's gravestones are beautiful.<BR/><BR/>What an amazing composer, he's THE British composer as far as I'm concerned. The first opera I went to was <I>A Midsummer Nights Dream</I> and the first I bought on record was his recording of <I>Peter Grimes</I>.Henry Hollandnoreply@blogger.com
