Hello, Pliable,

Perhaps you might want to take a look at my latest post.

At least take a look at the last paragraph, the rest is stuff you already know. I made a very cool discovery about Maestro René Köhler, who recorded so many concertos with Joyce Hatto. Perhaps you already know about his artistic career as well, but take a look anyway, ok?

And thank you so much for bringing up this whole affair about Joyce Hatto. It gives so much food for thought!

Regards,

Konrad von Swalwagner

Thanks Konrad.

Let us assume for the moment that the Joyce Hatto discs are fakes -if not many apologies to everyone concerned.

If they are fakes the very surprising thing is how unsubtle the deception was, and how easily the musical community was taken in. Leaving the identifier of the original recording embedded in the code, and using a ficticous conductor was hardly the work of a master forger.

Everyone seems to have been taken in, although thankfully a Google search for 'Joyce Hatto On An Overgrown Path' doesn't reveal any mentions here in the last two and a half years.
